Objective: AArrow Sign Spinners marketed the relatively new products of Vitamin Water and Vitamin Energy during the 2007 NBA All-Star weekend in Las Vegas. AArrow Advertising introduced the product by distributing samples and nutritious information while sign spinning on the strip outside major events, hotels and casinos.
Method: Vitamin Water concentrated much of their advertising budget on street-level advertising internally and externally. The Vitamin Water marketing team knew AArrow Sign Spinning, that combined extreme sports with advertising, was the perfect medium for attracting their target audience.
Campaign Details:
1) AArrow Sign Spinning outside the 2007 Slam Dunk Competition, 2007 NBA All-Star Game, 2007 Celebrity Basketball Game and along the Las Vegas strip.
2) Product Promotion - Thousands of Vitamin Water and Vitamin Energy bottles were passed out at each location.
Results and Conclusion: Anyone traveling within a three-mile radius of the Las Vegas strip and attending the 2007 NBA All-Star Game was targeted and reached. Positive branding was the largest result created by AArrow Sign Spinners as Vitamin Water is now one of the largest, most successful beverages in the sports/energy drink industry.
