Joe Roettgen cracks a smile as he launches his sign several feet above his head.  He catches the sign on the upraised palm, and it spins like a helicopter blade. Roettgen, a sophomore anthropology major, is the spin instructor for the Orlando branch of AArrow Advertising and has held jobs spinning  signs outside of businesses for a little more than two years.

“It’s a positive force now when there are a lot of negative forces out there. Plus it’s a lot of fun,” Roettgen said.
